I’m part of a new multi-author series!

I have been sitting on this announcement for nearly two years.

At the beginning of 2020, I was invited to my very first multi-author series, A Villains Ever After. It was one of the most fulfilling and fun things I have ever done as a writer. At the end of 2021, the collaboration was wrapping but, I knew I wasn’t done.

I had SO MUCH FUN doing a multi-author series that I made a very typical decision . . . I decided to throw my own party and organize my own collaboration!

I had barely finished publishing The Goblin and the Dancer before I was reaching out to other indie authors to make my budding idea come true.

And now, at last, I get to announce that the dream has become a reality.

I am thrilled to announce my next project is a multi-author series called A CLASSIC RETOLD: ten fantasy retellings of classic literature as you have never seen them before!

All my love and gratitude go to Emily Hayse, Emily Golus, Alissa Zavalianos, Nina Clare, Jenelle Schmidt, Rosie Grymm, Hannah Kaye, Penny Kearney, and Tor Thibeaux for joining me on this glorious adventure and for writing such amazing books for A Classic Retold

And yes, in case you haven’t guessed it already, I’m going to lead off the series with my retelling of Beowulf, Break the Beast!

Here’s what the other ladies are retelling!

Emily Hayse – Hamlet

Emily Golus – Les Misérables

Alissa Zavalianos – 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Nina Clare – Jane Eyre

Jenelle Schmidt – Oliver Twist

Rosie Grymm – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Hannah Kaye – Moby Dick

Penny Kearney – The Hound of The Baskervilles

Tor Thibeaux – The Tempest
